Price Details and Comparisons:
Our Great American Road Trip – Route 66 is $2,850 for 10 days and 9 nights which includes Hyatt and high-star fun-friendly hotels, adventurous guided tours, experienced licensed guides, and 12 yummy local cuisine meals per the Itinerary. The Tour Price includes an air-conditioned leather state-of-the-art electronically enabled luxury coach with a seasoned professional driver. We leave and return to Dallas from the Holiday Inn Express at Preston and LBJ with free no-charge parking for our cars during the trip.
1. Great American Road Trip Price per Person:

2. Price Comparison: We compared our Great American Road Trip to three travel companies offering in October similar Grand Canyon – Southwest Tours. For 8 to 9 nights and similar guided tours and number of meals, their prices range from $2,926 to $3,099 with flights in and out of Las Vegas or similar Southwestern cities.
3. Travel Insurance – Double and Single Room:
|a. Travel Insurance for a Double Room is $259. (With the more expensive Single Room the Insurance is $319)
4. Joining us from Outside Dallas – Fort Worth:
The majority of us live in the DFW area. Hotel accommodations for Saturday night, October 2nd, and Tuesday night, October 12th when we are in Dallas, are available at the Holiday Inn Express at LBJ Freeway and Preston Road for our special pricing of $89 per night. Please check the respective boxes on the Reservation Form if you would like reservations for you one or both of these nights. Payment details will be completed at the time of check-in.
4. Tour Fare includes:
The Nine Hotel nights described in the Itinerary and are quoted as double occupancy with single room available. Meals as specified in the itinerary with a possible small variance. When indicated next to each day, they are included in the trip. Luggage – Baggage allowance is one piece of luggage not exceeding 44 pounds and totaling 106 inches (the sum of the three dimensions). Free parking during our trip at the Holiday Inn Express at Preston and LBJ Freeway.
5. Tour Fare excludes:
Air Transportation – flight tickets, if any, are purchased individually directly from the airlines.
Transportation of heavy luggage in excess of the aforementioned limit. Since the majority of us live in DFW and will be at home on October 2nd and 12th, these hotel nights are not included. Expenses of a purely personal nature and any other expenses typically paid individually. Room service charges. Gratuities including Local and Tour Guides, drivers, and hotel porters. All fees, taxes, etc listed above
6. Additional Remarks:
Hotels and tours are subject to change; however, if changed, they will be comparable to the original. Tour Reservations are non-transferable without permission. Payment in full for the Tour is due 135 days prior to departure.
7. Reservation Deposit and Tour Cancellation Fees:
The Reservation Deposit holds your place in our Great American Road Trip and may be refunded if a suitable replacement is available. For Tour cancellation 135 to 90 days prior to departure, a cancellation fee of 50% of the Tour Cost will apply. For cancellation within 89 days of departure, a cancellation fee of 100% of the Tour Cost will apply. Travel Insurance paid at the time of final payment protects for any loss from a cancellation fee for health-related reasons.
